Right... now you're back, wasn't that an awesome film? I hope you didn't drop anything important, but it was worth it.
That is a really really good film. Not a 'great film' like the Dark Knight was, but it is an AMAZING film, with the first 15-20 minutes (that involving the USS Kelvin) being one of my favourite pieces of cinema.

I have only a few quibbles. Such as... warp nacelles. The Kelvin only has 1? That's impossible! According to Star Trek lore...
According to the internet that's another "2 nacelles in one" deely, like the Saladin class, and that one ship with 3 nacelles. But I don't know, it annoys me.
Just about everything else is good, especially the way it deals with the inevitability of the character's fates. Moreover, it's finally a star trek film that isn't stuffy.

If a new series of that calibre doesn't come soon I will be angry. (although if a new series like Enterprise comes along I will be MORE angry. Wrathful. ... People will die wrathful).
